For her birthday Julia was treated to a weekend at Val d’Isère.

“Julia didn’t really have much experience of mountains so we decided it would be a nice opportunity to let her enjoy this type of break » explained Hélène. “We wanted to find the happy medium between discovering something new and relaxing, dividing the weekend between novel activities and quieter times.”

“The Aigle des Neiges seemed to be the ideal place for this: Located half-way between the ski slopes and the village, with ultra-comfortable rooms, a spa and a restaurant and bar in the hotel: it was perfect, exactly what we were looking for!”.

Skiing beginners’ lessons at husky outings, with massage sessions in the hotel spa and shopping in town to ensure variety: the weekend whizzed by without the four friends realising.

“The time we spent in the hotel spa was absolutely wonderful: it enabled us to relax and recharge our batteries, enabling us to set off again raring to go.”

“One of the highlights was the birthday meal at Paul, one of the hotel restaurants. We had a really great meal and the atmosphere was incredibly modern and cosy. The service was perfect. We really had a great evening !” Afterwards the young girls moved on to the Jack Bar to finish off the evening, with champagne, listening to some jazz deep into the night…
